“Last Chance” makeup times for senior portraits

Updated 12/2017 – MAKEUP TIMES ARE NOW OVER for the class of 2018 – See below

Please read this information carefully – it explains how to get a picture taken in time to appear in your school yearbook.  We call these our “Last Chance” times.

The Camera Box schedules private senior portrait sittings during May, June, July, August, and September.  However, as of  August 20, 2017, all of our private appointment times are filled (except for cancellations) and our after-school and weekend times are filled until late October, 2017.

In order to guarantee you a place in the yearbook, we reserve times as  “Last Chance” nights AT OUR STUDIO in Camp Hill.  We do not take appointments – it is “first come, first served.”  We will stay as long as necessary to make sure that everyone is photographed.  See below for what dates are reserved for your school.

Some schools also set up MAKEUP TIMES AT SCHOOL.  This depends on the school.  See below for a list of what times have been reserved for your school.  Also note that this list is SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.  Check back here for updates.

If I come to the studio, how long will I have to wait at a “Last Chance” Makeup Night?

We don’t know.  It depends on how many people show up.  Based on past experience, the wait will be up to one hour.  It could be longer.

How much does it cost?

The sitting fee is $35 and must be paid when you are photographed.  Your sitting will be a brief, simple formal portrait session and you may only wear one outfit.  We will show you your previews after the photos are taken and ask you to make your selection for the yearbook immediately – before you leave the studio.

PLEASE NOTE that we sometimes offer a discounted sitting fee  if you have your pictures taken at the makeup time at school, if one is available.

Will my yearbook photo be retouched?

Yes, the $35 sitting fee includes the cost of basic retouching, including blemish removal.  We are sorry, but we cannot accommodate special retouching requests.  There is not enough time prior to your school’s deadline.

Can I buy copies of the pictures that you take for myself and my family?

Yes, if you wish.  We will post your photos on our website and send you an email when the pictures are ready to be viewed (in about two to three weeks).  If you want to order photos, you may order online or come in to the studio to place an order.
