Camera Box Gives Back!

Geoff and Tammy Shearer

Not only are Tammy and Geoff showing and creating the beauty of the world one photo at a time, but they’re also involved in the beauty of the world by giving back to their community.

Camera Box offers their service and expertise for free, lending a helping hand to a variety of organizations throughout the mid-state.

When asked about why they do what they do, Tammy had said, “I love giving back and being involved in the community, and I want to make a positive impact on the world around me.”

The Camera Box is involved with several charitable organizations including The United Way of the Capital Region, the MS Society, the American Heart Association, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, United Methodist Home for Children, and Junior Achievement.

Tammy is a member of the Cumberland County Economic Development Board, Hampden Township Planning Commission, Public Policy and Advisory Committee for the YWCA, and the Susquehanna University Alumni Board.

Geoff has been a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Leadership Class, a volunteer for Junior Achievement and serves on the WITF Community Advisory Council.

Geoff and Tammy also support the rescue of abandoned and/or abused animals, and they encourage the adoption of domestic pets from local animal shelters. For this reason, Camera Box donates a portion of its proceeds from all pet sittings to local charities.

How do you give back to your community?
