The Human Society of the Harrisburg Area is teaming up with the Pride of the Susquehanna riverboat for a one of a kind event!  At “Ride the Pride with Your Dog,” pet owners and their pooches can cruise the Susquehanna and enjoy a picnic lunch courtesy of Flinchy’s and Yuengling.

Through this fun partnership three choices will be available for cruise times on Saturday, September 8 when dogs and their families enjoy a ride on the river while supporting HSHA.  Humans have a picnic lunch and dogs can choose goodies from the canine treat bar. Docking is on City Island. Cruise times are: 11:15 a.m., 12:15 a.m., and 1:15 p.m.

People can register online or show up the day of the event.  The cost is $25 per person or $40 for 2 people.  Each pooch will receive a “goodie bag” filled with canine treats from Nestle Purina!  Pet owners will also have the opportunity to have their pet(s) photographed by the Camera Box Photography with them on the Pride of the Susquehanna.
